Let me introduce you to all the wild edge lamps as there is quite a collection.
It all started with the rosebay willowherb about this time two years ago. It's hard to mention the rosebay without mentioning the studio fire as there is a huge story attached to this design. This flower, otherwise known as fireweed got me through this very difficult time. If it could come back from the ashes, so could I (and I did).
The first thing I made after the fire was my wild edge wallpaper and that's when all the other plants joined in...
We have ragwort, available as a tall table lamp
complete with a cinnabar moth
and a caterpillar.
Then we have the nettle lamp
with all it's dangling flowers and seeds lit up.
It didn't feel complete without Noisette the nettle weevil!
Then I made a wild edge floor lamp to bring all the plants together on one statement lamp.
It features the hogweed too
and a banded snail, often found in the wild edges....I saw so many on my way to work along the river path. They seem to be partial to a bit of rosebay!
So there you are, the wild edge collection.
All the lamps are available on my website and can be posted around the world. They all come with a cable and a plug, ready to plug in and switch on for a bit of a nature glow and to keep the wild edges shining all year round.
I'd love it if you would share my photos, perhaps on Pinterest? Or forward this post to a friend. Do you know anyone who loves a good wild edge?
